What insurances do we take?

You will find a list of insurances we take on our Insurance page.

Yes.

Can we make payments in office or do we have to call billing department directly?

Contact the billing department directly for questions and we can take payment from you remotely.

Do I need to schedule an appointment for a sports physical?

No. We accept walk-ins, however, wait times may vary. We suggest scheduling an appointment to expedite the process.

How much does a sports physical cost if I don’t have insurance?

A sports physical will cost $40.

Are Sports Physicals FREE?

As of August 1st, sports physicals will now cost $40.

If I have insurance, why can't my sports physical be billed?

Sports physicals are classified as preventive services, not urgent care services. Because Priority Urgent Care specializes in urgent care, we are unable to bill insurance for preventive services like sports physicals. We recommend checking with your primary care provider, as they can often bill your insurance for these services.

Why isn’t my school partnered with Priority Urgent Care?

Please notify the school that we would love to partner with them. They can contact us at contact@p-uc.com or have them go here to fill out an online form.

Does the student athlete need to be with a parent or guardian?

Yes. All student athletes K-12 MUST BE accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

What do I bring with me to the appointment?

Please make sure to bring the sports physical form provided by your school. Additionally, students need to present a valid school ID or other form of school verification. If you are in need of the Kern High School physical form, please click here.
