COVID-19 Antibody Testing
Spike Protein Antibody Testing
What is it?
Spike protein antibody is generated from COVID-19 infection and after COVID-19 vaccination. If you were vaccinated, 2 weeks after your Moderna/Pfizer vaccines or 4 weeks after your Johnson and Johnson vaccine, you should see a positive result of your spike protein antibody test.
How is it done?
A few ml of blood will be drawn at our urgent care for the test. The blood is then sent to our lab for analysis. It's available at all of our locations. It's a standard urgent care visit, no special directions needed for sign up.
Does insurance cover the test?
The majority of insurances cover the test at this time. This varies with individual insurances.
